Rami Blachman

International biz dev for tech, tech-enabled companies

As a US/Israeli tech entrepreneur and venture capitalist, based in Shanghai and Tel Aviv, I am professionally devoted to nurturing the technology links between China and the world, and particularly with Israel. With the rise of China as a grand playing field for growing new technologies and a hotbed for science and academic research, I am a firm believer in Israel startup nation’s key role as an enabler for foreign know-how that seeks to partake in China’s burgeoning knowledge economy and society.

My functional skillset includes creative entrepreneurship, international business development, product development, communications and cross-cultural negotiations.

My goal is twofold: Provide Chinese cities and businesses with unhindered access to Israeli tech dynamism and through Israel to Silicon Valley and the world at large; and to enable Israeli and foreign tech companies, leaders, innovators and scientists achieve a long term, fruitful presence in China.
This ambitious goal is made possible thanks to the great openness that exists at this time in both China and Israel to international collaboration in deploying human ingenuity and creativity to solve problems and improve lives. I am deeply embedded in both ecosystems and a committed evangelist for these issues as a frequent writer and speaker in conferences, events and in the media.

Always interested to hear from Chinese cities, state owned enterprises, private and listed companies, venture capital funds and other investors that wish to gain a meaningful, unfettered access to Israeli startups. Family offices the world over that wish to add tech investing to their portfolio are also invited to reach out regarding insiders’ access to an exceptional Israeli deal flow.
Also invite Israeli and foreign tech startups at all stages and in all sectors, and vendors of innovative products, to contact me for a tailored China market strategy that includes a milestone-based implementation.
